Treatment Program Details

1) Prior to your journey to Santa Cruz, you will receive several documents via email. These will include your schedule of appointments, directions to our various offices (all of which are within a ten minute drive of each other), and a list of useful tips regarding lodging, travel, and other general advice.

2) Your first two hour session will include a comprehensive intake which includes taking your medical history, including history of surgeries and accidents, and a brief examination of the Qi flow in your legs and feet, followed by FSR.

3) The treatment sessions last two hours and are usually scheduled to begin on the hour. This gives the practitioner a few minutes at the end of your session to answer a few questions, and get his office ready to begin promptly on the hour with his next patient. The team is not located in one large building; we are all independent acupuncturists with private offices.

4) We will not make recommendations or advise about prescription medications. We are not MDs, and therefore, giving advice about prescription medication is not a part of our program. If you ask pointed questions about any prescription medications, your questions will not be answered. We are forbidden by law from making comments about prescription medications, and we adhere strictly to the law.

5) We will not give a prognosis. A prognosis is an estimate of the time required for recovery. It is impossible to guess. Everyone is unique.
