Fees
The members
of the group have agreed to charge a very low fee of $70.00 US per
treatment (as of August, 2004. Please check before you come, as
prices do change with inflation.) Of this $70.00, a percentage is
contributed to the Parkinsons Recovery Project, which is a
non-profit corporation. The donated funds are used by the PRP to
keep the website up and running, and pay for the operating expenses
of the non-profit organization. There is no charge for a health
practitioner who wants to observe the treatments of the Parkinsons
Treatment Team.
It is possible that your schedule will include at least one FSR session from Janice Walton-Hadlock (at the regular treatment price) during your stay. However, her schedule is very tight, and this is not always possible.
Payment must be made in US dollars. Most American banks do not exchange currency, nor will they accept foreign checks. It is not safe to carry large amounts of cash. We accept travelers checks. Most foreign banks will write a Bank Cheque or Money Order made payable in US dollars. Make the check payable to Chris Ells. (Chris is the treasurer of the Parkinsons Treatment Team.) Do NOT make the check payable to the Parkinsons Recovery Project.
If you are planning to withdraw funds from an ATM (automatic banking) machine, please remember that many banks have a dollars-per-day limit. This means that if you pay your motel bill and your rental car on one day, you may not be able to withdraw enough funds on the same day to pay off your obligation to the Treatment Team. Therefore, please do not wait until the last day of your stay to get money from a banking machine.
We do
not at this time (August, 2004) accept charge cards.
